How to get it
Create your resource on the Hobby Plan 5 — the trial is applied at checkout, and the summary shows $0.00 due today with the date of your first payment. You do not need to ask for it.The trial needs a payment card on file. Nothing is charged during the trial; the card is how we know there is a person behind the account, and each card is good for one trial. Add one in Billing → Update Payment Methods before you start.
- One trial per account and per workspace. It is offered to accounts that have not paid for a resource before.
- Hobby Plan 5 on its own. Another plan is a normal purchase, cheaper ones included, and so is the Hobby Plan 5 bought together with paid add-ons.
- Cancel any time before it ends and you are not charged. Your resources keep running until the end date.
- A card that has already had a trial is refused. The checkout goes through, but nothing is built and nothing is charged: the order page tells you why, and your subscription stays open on the free plan. The trial is spent at that point, so a second card does not bring it back — the plan itself is still there to buy outright.
- Buying more ends the trial early. Adding another resource, or moving up to a larger plan, starts a paid period that day at the new price. Moving down or rearranging what you already have does not.
Instance
Instance (where Application code runs) is a CloudHypervisor microVM. These are lightweight, secure virtual machines based on strong hardware virtualization. Your workloads are safely isolated no matter where they’re running on our infrastructure.
This trial gives you access to all the features and resources of the Hobby Plan 5, allowing you to build, deploy, and manage your applications without any limitations during the trial period.
