Miget’s referral program lets you earn credits when people you refer make purchases on the platform. Credits are automatically applied as discounts on your subscription payments.

How It Works

Every Miget account has a unique referral code. Share it with others, and when they sign up and make purchases, you earn credits.
  1. Share your referral code — find it in your account settings under the Credits section.
  2. Your referral signs up — they enter your code during registration or apply it later in their settings.
  3. You earn credits — every time your referral makes a purchase or their subscription renews, you earn 30% of the purchase subtotal as credit.
  4. Credits reduce your payments — credits are applied as a discount on your next subscription payment.
Credits are earned on the full subtotal (the price before any discounts), so you always earn based on the base plan price.

Choosing a Workspace

Credits are tied to a single workspace. You select which workspace benefits from your credits in your account settings under the Credits section.
  • By default, credits apply to your first workspace.
  • You can change the workspace at any time — the discount moves to the new workspace’s subscription on the next renewal.

Applying a Referral Code

You can apply a referral code in two ways:
  • During registration — enter the code in the referral code field on the sign-up form, or use a referral link with ?ref=CODE appended.
  • After registration — go to your account settings, navigate to the Credits section, and enter the referral code there.
You can only apply one referral code per account. Once set, the referrer cannot be changed.

Viewing Your Credits

Dashboard

Your credit balance and history are available in Settings → Credits. The Credits section shows:
  • Your current credit balance
  • A preview of savings on your next payment
  • Your referral code to share
  • A full history of earned and deducted credits

API

You can also retrieve your credit balance and history via the API:

Payouts

Once your credit balance reaches $1,000 or more, you become eligible for a cash payout. To request a payout, contact our support team at hello@miget.com or reach out on Discord.
Payouts are processed manually by the Miget team. You can continue using credits as subscription discounts while waiting for a payout, or keep accumulating your balance.

Limitations

  • One referral code per account — once a referral code is applied, it cannot be changed.
  • One discount per subscription — if your subscription already has a promotional discount, credits will not be applied until the promotion ends.
  • Credits do not apply to mid-cycle upgrades — when you upgrade a resource mid-billing-cycle, the prorated charges are calculated at the full price. Your credit discount resumes on the next renewal.
  • Non-transferable — credits belong to your account and cannot be transferred to another user.

Email Notifications

You receive email notifications when:
  • Credits are earned from a referral’s purchase
  • Credits are deducted from your balance after a payment
You can toggle credit notifications in Settings → Notifications.
